Organisational Sandbox

This wiki serves one purpose, to save time and effort of cutting and pasting information that needs to be available to various levels of the organisation. Please use this wiki for what it is, a sandbox. Don't waste time trying to customise it, include non essential graphics, logos, et cetera. It is a straight media-wiki install only.

Please note; all research related material in relation to the free speech / anti censorship campaign is to be posted at wiki.efp and not here, this is for NoCensorship.info (NCI), Digital Liberty Coalition (DLC) and March in March (MIM) campaign related matters only.

If you have stumbled upon this wiki in error, the owners can be found at dlc.asn.au, more information about them can be found on wikipedia. The DLC is an incorporated association registered in Australia as a non-profit organisation.

Contact List, PLEASE COMPLETE

If you know the below people, please include beside their names a mobile number and an email address (non-DLC) for them, need to get a contact list of decent standards together. If you can think of any other people, contributors, assistants, supporters, coordinators, whatever; if they can donate time to the DLC, add them to the second list.

Printers capable of professional quality work for: - A2 posters 4xA4 flyers A4 Zfold flyers Business cards for MiM promotion
Merchandise (hands free) for: - T-shirts Stickers Iron on badges Pin badges
If you can provide any of this, let us know by posting here.

Websites / Propaganda

It has been decided that Varg and mecha will both take over Websites and Propaganda. We still need volunteers for other stuff in that regards, badly. We also need someone to find a way to provide online purchases of merchandise in a way where we don't have to handle it, preferably not cafepress because they charge a ridiculous amount and our entire lobbying and materials will be sourced from the income from this (subsidised as always from our pockets, no doubt!) for the long haul.
Website material can be reviewed here and contributions are very essential to keep this a community project: -
MIM - marchinmarch.org
DLC - dlc.asn.au
NCI - nocensorship.info
BBC - bluebutton.org.au
NOTE: There are some unifying needs between all sites, links through to one another, a merchandise section which we will have to have set up as a fire and forget system we don't need to touch, a membership sign up section and donation tabs on every page, a how to volunteer section because most people are sitting on their hands and will do so until it's too late, and a shared news section which can be powered by one static WordPress amongst all three sites.

To do

Any somewhat important to-do's can be posted here, if someone is willing to pick up the slack or do the job required simply sign (with ~~~~) off on it so that we know who is tending to what needs.

Old To dos are at Been done

National

 • Myspace coverage - register myspace.com/digitallibertycoalition or DLC. Was going to do this but probably best to leave it to TFM to do it seeing as he needs to keep social networking updated yer? myspace is only useful to get bulletin spam out if we cbfed to get a big friends list.
 • We must stay on top of the media coverage we are getting, this information is important for public relations campaigns as well as gaining sponsorship and donations by showing just how huge this entire issue has become to Australians.
 • I suggest we compile a list of YouTube and Vimeo footage of the rallies and stuff relating to the DLC into a list, then that every state organiser go over their states footage and evaluate at the next available meeting time what the strengths and weaknesses were, who were strong speakers and strong leaders, and who to commend. We should get the national office to send out thank you's to those who donated time and effort and did splendidly.
 • Creating Twitter accounts?, have more coordinators having a presence on social networks/forums (i.e. Whirlpool) to show the public DLC's "face" etc
 • Fifers to update last meeting minutes etc or someone else that has the notes from the last casual meetings that haven't been recorded here.

NSW

QLD

 • Contact Griffith Film School noticeboard/ads - volunteers for creating media/equipment

VIC

ACT

 • find fifers a place to crash in ACT during February near the ANU, hang out with fifers while he's in Canberra doing research work.

WA

 • Matteo is stepping down as coordinator. Someone already involved in Perth is currently considering stepping up.

SA

TAS

 • Need a new DLC coordinator - Tim can still help but due to other commitments, doesn't have the time for an ongoing role.
